The EDYSTON technology then interacts with the alkalis, sulfates, chlorides, and other contaminates present as pore water solution within the cracked concrete.

The interaction between the concrete pore water solution and EDYSTON initiates the formation of a bridging and healing hydrogel, which contributes to the development of calcium-silicate-hydrate (C-S-H), enhancing concrete integrity where it Is most critical, deep within the concrete cracks.

The EDYSTON Is different in that the nano-sized particles (1000x smaller than acement particle) are slow to react, which allow time to penetrate deep into the concrete.The EDYSTON technology completes its transformation into C-S-H, bridging cracks and filling the voids ofthe damaged concrete.X

EDYSTON enables targeted healing of microcracks and damaged zones in concrete through a crack blunting mechanism. Upon exposure to moisture and pore solution with in deteriorated concrete, EDYSTON forms a self-organizing hydrogel that diffuses into cracks and voids.This hydrogel not only mitigates crack propagation but also promotes in-situ generation of calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H), contributing to an extension in long-term durability. The result is a tougher microstructure that improves both the resilience and service life of compromised concrete substrates.

1. Power Wash - Remove salt and weak concrete by power washing (3000 - 3500 psi). All contaminants must be removed for EDYSTON to contact the deteriorated concrete.

Prep & Application

2. Saturated Surface Dry - Allow washed surface to dry to a saturated surface dry condition.

3. Apply Spray on EDYSTON technology based on need and wait at least 10 minutes before applying additional applications. (EDYSTON requires a minimum of 3 applications)

Advanced Concrete Healing Technology

DURYGEL has been engineered to optimize the cracked and pore structure of a deteriorated concrete structure. The DURYGEL will use the impurities in the concrete cracks to create a rejuvenating gel that focuses on creating a tougher concrete matrix for a longer life cycle. 

DENSYGEL has been developed to heal and densify deteriorated concrete. This leads to increased service life and a reduced lifecycle cost of the concrete structure. This gives the end-user more assets and time with their concrete structure.

ENVYROGEL was developed to increase the deteriorated concrete’s resiliency to environmental conditions. When deployed, the ENVYROGEL technology bridges concrete cracks and pores. The enhanced concrete with a lower permeability has a reduction in the migration of corrosion materials
