WHAT IS EDYSTON?

EDYSTON, LLC delivers a quick and cost effective to solution to bringing life back to deteriorated concrete. EDYSTON creates a strong and dense concrete resistant to the damaging impact of repeated wetting, freeze-thaw cycles and salt damage. This results in extended service life of the concrete structure.

WHAT ARE THE EDYSTON PRODUCTS?

EDYSTON is a 3-product system comprised of DENSYGEL, ENVYROGEL, & DURYGEL , each with specific performance attributes geared towards breathing life back into your concrete and restoring/ lengthening the planned lifecycle.

DENSYGEL has been developed to rejuvenate cracked and deteriorated concrete. This performance improvement leads to an increased service life, which lowers the structure's lifecycle cost for the owner.

ENVYROGEL has been developed to increase the deteriorated concrete's resiliency to environmental conditions. When applied, the ENVYROGEL technology bridges concrete cracks effectively manipulating the kinetics of alkali and hydroxide functionalization to create a protective or pacification barrier over corroded concrete, aggregate, and steel.

DURYGEL has been engineered to absorb deeply into the damaged concrete structure. Once inside, DURYGEL will optimize the pore structure by using impurities in surrounding concrete cracks to form a rejuvenating gel that creates a nearly impervious concrete matrix resulting in a longer life-cycle.

HOW DO I USE EDYSTON PRODUCTS?

EDYSTON is not a concentrate so do not add any water.

In order for EDYSTON to contact the deteriorated concrete, all coatings and contaminants must first be removed using ASTM D 4258, 4259, or equivalent methods. Condition the concrete surface to SSD before applying EDYSTON.

EDYSTON must be applied with an approved sprayer and/or applicator.

Apply EDYSTON at rate of 500 sf per gallon. A minimum of 3 applications are needed in all cases, but more may be required based on the amount of deterioration.

Alternate direction of successive applications.

Allow at least 10 minutes between applications, but do not let the surface visually dry. If the rate of drying does not allow this then utilize environmental protection or reschedule the application. Allow EDYSTON to cure for 24-hrs before applying a concrete surface sealer.

HOW DO I STORE + PACKAGE EDYSTON PRODUCTS?

Precautions must be taken to ensure that EDYSTON does not freeze, which can occur at 36 degrees.

EDYSTON has a shelf life of 5 years from the time of production when stored under controlled, laboratory conditions.

EDYSTON is available in 5 gallon buckets, 55 gallon drums, 500 gallon (1890 L) totes or by bulk delivery.
